G. Eric Brunstad, noted bankruptcy appellate attorney and counsel for J. Howard Marshall’s estate, is hopeful the Anna Nicole Smith inheritance case is penning its final chapter. His June 26th trip to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Seattle is intended to vindicate Marshall’s heirs once and for all. As we described in a March post entitled “Guilty Pleasure,” the battle over who stands to benefit from Marshall’s sizable fortune has been waged over 10 years and clogged several courts. We trust Lady Justice will don a pair of overalls and pull out this insidious weed-like, shameless, entitlement-laden ploy by Howard K. Stern and company.

One Response to “Root Of All Evil? Meet Hoe and Weeder, LLP.”
Yes, good analysis. Kind of like pulling the parasite mistletoe off of the oak? Old Daddy Marshall had a lifelong career as a trust and estate attorney and well knew what he was doing with his money when he gave Baby Ana Nicole, his lunchtime waitress, millions of dollars in gifts while he was alive.
The first probate case was done correctly and all the following appeals are just parasites trying to grow a root into the harvest of his money crop.
